This April we will be running workshops for children and adults at Gentley to raise money for new street trees to be planted in Crofton Park -South/East London. We will be working with Street Trees for Living to facilitate this project - a group of volunteers who work with an ever-expanding group of engaged local residents and business all committed to greening our streets.

In the workshops for children and adults participants will create abstract tree ornaments using wood, paint and a range of materials.

Inspired by geometric shapes, brilliant colour and tactile ingredients - metaphorical trees will be created and a connection to nature will emerge.

Street trees are incredibly valuable feature for our local and urban environment as they provide so many health benefits by improving overall emotional, physical and psychological health.
